Welcome to the Minnetonka Parks Renewal Web site
In 2001, Minnetonka voters passed a $15 million parks and open space bond referendum. Half of the money was earmarked for the renewal of the city's 42 parks, with the other half to be used for open space preservation within Minnetonka. Five years later, many of the city's parks have been renewed, including Beachside, Boulder Creek, Civic Center, Covington, Crane Lake, Ford, Glen Moor, Gro Tonka, Groveland, Hilloway, Jidana, Junction, Knollway, Libbs Lake Beach, Linner, McKenzie, Meadow, Minnehaha Creek Headwaters, Mini Tonka, Orchard, Pioneer, Purgatory, Spring Hill, Sunrise Ridge, Victoria-Evergreen, and Woodgate. We hope this site gives you all the information you need to stay informed about park renewal and renovation projects in Minnetonka. If you think something is missing, need assistance or would like more information, drop us a line under City Staff Contacts. We look forward to creating successful projects with your input. This site is updated regularly, so please check back often for new information. (Updated January 17, 2008)
